Above are the adverts I have produced the response below to. I was particularly influenced by the ebay advert as it contains vibrant colours and looks professional.
VISUAL RESPONSE ABOVE. Here is my response to my stop motion research page. I researched some popular stop motion adverts from various companies including: Ebay, Skittles and Amazon. I have advertised a new phone using around 150 frames. I used a mixture of computer manipulation and hand drawn images to produce this piece. The response links well with the adverts I researched. I am pleased with it as the white background emphasises the text and image.
Here is the printer stop motion advert. I enjoyed watching this as it builds up using a large quantity of frames. I have responded to it below.
VISUAL RESPONSE ABOVE. Here is my response to the printer stop motion animation I researched. I adapted the idea and shaped it around an advert for a camera. I took around 45 frames for this piece and I am pleased with the result. I adjusted the contrast of the pictures to sharpen them. Overall it gave me a better feel for working with stop motion involving pictures and technology.
Here are the two adverts I researched and produced a still image in my book. I particularly like the different images and the way they are animated. VISUAL RESPONSE AND ANNOTATION TO THE ABOVE TWO ADVERTS IN BOOK.
VISUAL RESPONSE ABOVE. I HAVE PRODUCED A RESPONSE TO THE TWO IMAGES IN MY BOOK ABOVE. Here is my response to the two images I researched in my book. I took a more retro route with this piece and advertised an old fashioned camera. I used the quote ‘out with the old, in with the new.’ This creates a contrast between the old camera and the quote. I believe the piece has turned out well and the typography adds a good effect as a whole.
