The Me Bird - Pablo Neruda: Stencil Animation

I really like this animation as it is such a simple idea in creating a basic stencil and using repetition to slightly alter the image each time a new stencil is cut which creates a depth to the picture when they are all layered on top of each other.  I also think its really clever how the image always changes in the front picture and then changes from going back to front or front to back which really shows the movement and acts like its an actual video of a dancer.

The idea of using lots of different textures on the stencil also helps to point out the layers and you can easily see the movement by the use of changing colour.  This is something I would really like to try in my designs which could either be done using lots of cut-outs or using Photoshop to alter the material each time.
