This is the first part of my response to the animation research. My drawing is influenced by Anna Blume from Fin Film, I liked the style of drawing in the animation with the black, red and white theme so have gone for the same style. The little creature thing in the Anna Blume animation reminded me of a drop of Jam which fits with the Jelly, Jam and Buttered Toast poem so I have drawn my own Jam creature. I drew the body first and it stays the same throughout the animation and drew the stages of the eyes separately so the body didn't move. I put it all together in photoshop where I then added colour.
